Meet Tony, our stalwart Monday kitchen lead! Tony handles most of the Costco runs, brings a ton of expertise in safe food storage and handling, and makes a mean sloppy joe. And today is his birthday!

Our unhoused residents have been evicted from four camps in South Minneapolis this week. Can you help us raise money to replace tents and supplies? We have only three tents on our shelves.

Late summer produce - like in the stir-fry and fruit cups we served last Tuesday - continues to be abundant! And September is typically the month we most struggle to fill volunteer slots. Last week we served 440 meals, and we need your help to do it again next week (and every week!).

Can you help us beat the September scramble? This week we're especially in need of more folks in the kitchen on Sunday afternoon from 3-5:30pm and Tuesday from 1:30-4:30pm, and there are open volunteer slots all month: linktr.ee/communitykitchenmpls
