My delivery day is also my bake day! These loaves were baked exactly one week ago today. Typically, my sourdough stays fresh for around 10 days, but warmer weather does shorten the shelf life. Please be mindful and check for any signs of mold, as heat and humidity can speed up spoilage.
This is also new territory for me, and I’m learning right alongside you about how warmer weather affects the shelf life of homemade sourdough. Thank you to everyone who shares their experiences and feedback—it helps me learn and serve you better.
And remember, if your loaf starts to get a little stale, don’t throw it away! A quick refresh can bring it right back to life.
