When life feels overwhelming, Jesus calls us to lift our eyes from what's temporary and fix them on what lasts forever. 🙌 We are reminded that instead of being consumed by stress and worry, we can seek Jesus first, trust our Heavenly Father, and live with eternity in view.

Before you say a word, your perfect Father already knows what you need. 🤍 Not the version of you that shows up for everyone else, the real one, worries and all. He isn't a distant judge, He's a Father who wants to know you deeply. Jesus said go into the secret place and just be with Him, because that's what He wants most — not recognition, relationship. That's the heart behind prayer and fasting: not rules to keep, but a door into the closeness we were made for.

As a church, we are grateful for this country and all that today represents—sacrifice, freedom, and opportunity. These gifts have made it possible for the Church to faithfully carry out the Great Commission, making disciples and helping shape our communities to look a little more like Jesus each day.

The freedom to gather, worship, and openly proclaim the name of Jesus is a blessing we should never take for granted. May we steward that freedom well by honoring those who have sacrificed for it, loving our neighbors, and serving our communities with humility and grace.

As we celebrate today, may we also remember that there is a freedom greater than any nation can offer—a freedom found in Christ alone. While earthly freedom is a precious gift, the freedom He gives is eternal.
