Mosaic Mirm

I am excited to announce that my proposal to create a series of tempered glass mosaics has been accepted by Milwaukee Area Technical College’s call for Community Art. In addition to four already completed works I will be creating three new mosaics. Stay tuned to see my progress! 🙂

Sad news about the death of artist Isaiah Zagar. I was fortunate to visit Philadelphia's Magic Gardens and to briefly meet him. He beautified the city of Philadelphia and served as a mentor and inspiration to artists all over the world. We will miss you.

I enjoyed seeing beautiful and intriguing work at Ovation Homes Winter Art Walk yesterday. Quilts, ceramic sculptures, mosaics, watercolor paintings and photography. The featured artists are Marla Morris Kennedy, Stuart Hoffman and Darlene Wesenberg Rzezotarski. I regret not taking any photographs of the compelling watercolors by Rebecca Moczulewski. The art will be on display for several months and the address is 1414 N. Prospect, Milwaukee 53202.
