Now that the nomination timing has closed, here are the candidates for the WJI election:

- President – Emily Summers (Madison Judo) and T. Kim Nguyen (Fox Valley Judo & Jujitsu Club of Wisconsin)

- Treasurer – Darlene Cypert (Incumbent) (Hogosha Judo)

- At-Large Director – Katie Sell (Incumbent) (Fox Valley Judo & Jujitsu Club of Wisconsin)

- At-Large Director – Tanner Gregory (Incumbent) (Madison Judo)

Since the Treasurer and 2 At-Large Director roles are uncontested, the nominees will automatically extend their appointments for 2-years.

For the President election, electronic voting will open on April 26 and close during the election portion of the annual meeting on May 30th. Candidate statement links: Emily Summers and T Kim Nguyen.

As a reminder, to register for electronic voting please email Taryn Strickland ([email protected]) or Gregg Roloff ([email protected]), or Henry Hummel (henry.hummel.wi@hotmail) by April 20. Voters must be a current USA Judo member in good standing and 18 years of age on election day to be eligible to vote.
