Due to hazardous air quality conditions from wildfire smoke affecting the Milwaukee area this week, Milwaukee Recreation is adjusting programming to protect the health and safety of participants and staff.

Canceled: All Milwaukee Recreation programs are canceled and closed the evening of Thursday, July 16 and all day Friday, July 17.

Meet Noelle Burtin, a dedicated and hardworking groundskeeper with the Milwaukee Recreation facilities and maintenance team! 🌲💪🏾⚽

Noelle joined the team last year and loves getting to work outdoors and give back to her community through horticulture. Recently, Noelle traveled to Kansas City to watch Colombia and Ghana face off in the World Cup!

Noelle was nominated for our July Staff Spotlight by recreation facilities manager Willie Mitchell. Congrats, Noelle!
