Nikita is a true husky with the energy to match it. She is looking for a new home. Her new home should be familiar with the breed, be able to give her plenty of exercise and have a secured yard (she's a known escape artist). Nikita is 3 years old and have the largest ears. She's up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She is good with other dogs but plays on the rougher side. She's good with kids as well. She's located in Green Bay.

Trixie is looking for a home with no children or older children who will respect her boundaries. She is 7 years old, fixed and up to date with her vaccines. She is house trained and crate trained and good with cats and dogs. She is located in Chippewa Falls.

Diesel is a 3 year old Husky that is in need of a new home. He is neutered, house trained and knows basic commands. He is up to date on his vaccines and loves playing with other dogs. In fact, Diesel can be quite submissive to other dogs but he loves attention and wants all your love for himself. Because of this, he would thrive in a home by himself. He is also a huge cuddle bug and will take any chance he can get to snuggle.

Diesel is located in Jackson, WI, 30 mins outside of Milwaukee. There is no rehoming fee. There is a preference to a home with a yard for Diesel to run around in. His current owner would also like to get updates about Diesel. Diesel is looking for a new home as soon as possible, could this home be yours?

Meet Konan! He is currently at the Monroe County Dog Shelter & Animal Welfare Department in Sparta, WI. Konan is approximately 4 1/2 years old and is a Husky mix.

Unfortunately, Konan was removed from a home after being kept in unlivable conditions and not able to be outside for activity. Because of this, we're hoping to find him a family who can show him just how wonderful life can be! He was kept in a crate that was far too small for him, forcing him to live lying down or stand crouched over. He had parasites and G.I. bacteria, so he was treated immediately upon coming to us so that he could start to feel better.

None of this mistreatment or neglect has stopped Konan from LOVING people. He's an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone he meets. One of his favorite things is belly rubs & he's very affectionate.

Konan is great at keeping his kennel clean, so we think he'll pick up on the new potty training schedule with consistency and patience. He's playful and will entertain himself with a tennis ball and pile of snow with no complaints. He loves toys, interacting with people, and should do well around big dogs given a proper introduction & supervision (he may prefer female dogs, but that is not necessarily set in stone). He is not recommended to live with cats or small dogs due to his prey drive.

Konan has a nice moderate energy level, meaning he'd be ideal for someone who wants to be outside to exercise every day, but on a nice day he'd likely love to hang outside in the backyard or snuggle with you on the couch. As most folks with a history of Husky ownership know, it's important that Konan has safe containment anytime he's outside. This breed is famous for being adventurous and clever, so a leash, tie-out or fence is best to keep him safe.

One thing to note: Konan has a severe over-bite. While it's one of the cutest things you'll ever see, it's also causing his bottom canines to make contact with the roof of his mouth. We've been working with a vet on our plan for some dental work to ensure Konan has a pain-free mouth for the rest of his life. This will be done prior to his adoption. (and the adorable over-bite will still exist!)

Konan is neutered & fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.

Bandit is a 4 month old purebred Husky puppy currently being fostered in Sheboygan through Circle of Souls. He was surrendered due to a couple breaking up and no longer having the time to care for him.

He is a cuddler with a chill, mild temperament and not as high energy as other husky puppies; but still a puppy nonetheless. He is good with dogs, good with cats, good with children big and small, good on a harness and very food motivated.

He is vaccinated except rabies cause he’s not old enough yet but has an appointment scheduled with the rescue. He is not yet neutered either because he’s not old enough.

The only requirements the rescue has for adoptees is no apartments and a yard is a must.

This is Garza. He is 6 years old and is a beautiful and well behaved Husky. His owner is currently battling cancer and would love to find him a loving home.

Garza is neutered, good with kids and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. He is up to date on shots but will be due for an updated rabies vaccine this month. He is located in Appleton.

Sweet Mercy is 47lbs of cuteness. She's running out of time and in need of an adopter. Mercy is currently located in Texas but there is transport available to bring her to Wisconsin. If you recalled our earlier post, Mercy was found dumped in Texas in a not so nice area. She is estimated to be a year old and is super friendly.
