How far away does this feel in Milwaukee, today?
I love summer. I covet the sun.
Yet I honor the winter, as well. The more peaceful & fulfilled i internally feel, the more gracefully I am able to move into the colder seasons. The harsh wind & chills are challenging, certainly. Yet they give us an opportunity to move in doors, to slow, to surrender, to fill our time with comfort, with family, with warmth. The next week or two, your feed will likely be filled with words entertaining & welcoming the new season - how to embrace moving inward, how to honor self rest & restoration, etc.
In honor of the change of the season, I’m thanking summer, & welcoming fall. 🍁

Okay, real talk - I’m meant to be in the wild.
I love my life - my career, my friends, fam, city, local opportunity, etc.
However, I honor my intuition - & as long as I can remember, she’s called me to far away places rooted in slowness, sun, sand, nature, culture unrooted in western values & a more holistic, simplistic, life pace.
My peoples have always heard of my lofty goals & desire to create what I have in the Midwest else where, & collaborate my niche in health & wellness & souls desires with that of cultures rooted south. As I grow I do not feel further away from that desire, but called even more to fulfill what the soul is asking for. Happy as I am, when you have a reoccurring dream or thought, it is not by accident. It is likely asking you to tune in, & to listen.
2020 is going to be the year of feeling this desire out in a more serious manner, planning, problem solving, allowing myself to dream & lean into all the ‘lofty’ whispers that I have so easily pushed to the side -because it’s been the ‘easy thing to do’.
