This World Refugee Day, HANAN was honored to join celebrations across Wisconsin recognizing the strength, resilience, and contributions of refugees. 💚 💙

Our staff, board members, volunteers, and members of the refugee community joined community leaders and partners at Milwaukee City Hall, Lynden Sculpture Garden, and the Governor's Residence Governor Tony Evers to celebrate the courage and achievements of refugees and reaffirm our commitment to building welcoming communities.

At Milwaukee City Hall, our Treasurer, Hashim Zaibak, shared inspiring remarks honoring the resilience of refugees and reminding us of the importance of continuing to support those seeking safety, opportunity, and a place to call home.

At HANAN, our commitment doesn't end today. Every day, we work to ensure refugees have the support, opportunities, and resources they need to build brighter futures.
