What is the gospel?

It’s a phrase many of us have heard countless times in church, but sometimes we pause and realize we’re not sure how to clearly explain it. The gospel is the foundation of the Christian faith, and the greatest news the world has ever heard! It’s what allows us to have hope and to live in freedom.

Our mission at Crossway Milwaukee is to make maturing followers of Jesus by the power of the gospel.

We believe that following Jesus was never meant to be done alone! God designed the local church to be a place where believers gather to worship, grow in His Word, encourage one another, and speak truth into each other’s lives. At Crossway, we also meet in small groups (pictured here!) to pray for one another and to explore God’s word further.

Being part of a church community helps us grow deeper in our faith and walk more faithfully with Christ, and we are thankful to have a great community here at Crossway .
