My heart. Mio cuore.

Yesterday my Father, Ron Chimenti, left us on his terms. He was ready to go and he did peacefully while he slept….My only request from God really. Dad was able to celebrate my Moms 75 birthday July 18, stayed as long as he could and then made his exit. He was my friend, my role model, my inspiration in so many ways and the best father any girl could dream of. So many of my attributes are from this man who put himself through college, survived Vietnam, had a successful marketing career, then ran his own business in Green Bay. He gave me my drive to succeed and do things well and with pride. No matter what job or project it was. He loved his family and friends with a fierce Italian passion. He’d over pour you and then make you breakfast with a smile the next day. He joked “breakfast is included” to guests. My heart is broken. I’ll miss caring for Dad. His laugh. His voice. The sparkle in his eyes. My brothers and I carried him one last time yesterday. It was an honor Dad. I’ll see you soon. Ti voglio bene Babbo. ❤️
