In Acts 5, followers of Jesus weren’t living off rare big moments. The Christian life was built on everyday faithfulness. In public spaces and around the dinner table, they kept sharing good news, even when opposition and suffering didn’t stop, because God’s Spirit helped them stay faithful.

Most of us won’t stand before a religious court or be flogged for what we believe. But all of us feel the pull to drift, get distracted, and quietly stop talking to God. Faithfulness often looks unspectacular: showing up tomorrow, opening your Bible again, praying again, inviting someone again, serving again, day after day. The Holy Spirit meets ordinary people in those ordinary steps and over time produces real, lasting change.
