Why is a scaling and root planing needed? Otherwise known as a deep cleaning, this is when plaque sits on the teeth for too long and mineralizes into a stone-like substance called calculus or tartar, causing bone loss and gum disease. Professional intervention is needed to clean and stop this irreversible process, requiring more than a regular cleaning.

Our office will be closed November 23rd - 27th, so that our team can spend time with their families, celebrating Thanksgiving!
