It is with deep sadness that we note the passing of former GPF board member, Marc Fogel. 💔

Marc was part of our "Newton contingent," and the ideal board member. He offered guidance gently, shared our story with joy, gave from his heart and always had the well-being of the organization front and center.

We extend to his wife Deborah, and his children and grandchild, our deepest sympathy. Marc's life was a life well led. 💙

Juneteenth, the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom, is a celebration of resilience, liberation, and the pursuit of justice.

At the Good People Fund, we are inspired by individuals who work every day to strengthen their communities and ensure that every human being is treated with dignity.

As we mark Juneteenth, may we recommit to listening, learning, and taking action on behalf of a more equitable future for all.
