San Rafael Marin Evening Rotary

In honor of Earth Day, Marin County Parks, volunteers, and Rotarians from all over Marin gathered together this past Saturday to w**d, clean, dig, and plant plants at McInnis Park in San Rafael.

San Rafael Marin Evening honored this years Service Above Self Award recipient from our Marin’s County sheriff’s department, Deputy Dawson for his extraordinary dedication to serve the community and his fellow colleagues.

It is always warming to see joyful and enthusiastic 3rd graders receive their very own dictionary.

San Rafael Marin Evening Collaborated with the Marin Women’s Commission in assembling, purchasing, and dropping off Easter baskets for Center for Domestic Peace this year, 2026.

San Rafael Marin Evening last meeting had Mikaela, from Guide Dogs for the Blind as our guest speaker, joining her was a four paw friend that showed off some commands, tricks, all while being composed and in character.
We had a surprise visitor, past District Governor, Peter Lagarias from the Rotary Club of San Francisco #2, and another wondeful guest from our charter club of Mission San Rafael, Pablo Castro made an appearance.

This Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, SRME club members volunteered with the to “floss” the boardwalk at Muir Woods, removing built up organic matter from the space between the slats of the walking path. We are grateful to the rangers and volunteers who put on this service project, especially in honor of the life of service of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
