Crash Course 10/08/2020

I'm a great advocate for safety. Wearing a seatbelt and sitting correctly in the aircraft is all about being prepared for the possibility of something happening. A seatbelt is designed to secure 1 person. Never double buckle two people on 1 seatbelt or skip buckling up because you can't find it. This simply endangers everyone else on board.

Helmets should be worn or at least secured for takeoff. History has taught us lessons that seat belts save lives. Plane crashes are violent affairs - coming from someone that has been in one.

Crash Course Lessons learned from a Caravan crash...

For all the jumpers that sit decide to sideways in the caravan rather than facing backward/forwards. Look at the damage you do to the interior of the plane and think what damage you could do to your container on that exposed edge. If you see others sitting that way, say something,

Happy New Year - 2019. Skydive Snohomish will be open this weekend (Its been two long months).

Time to get your rigs repacked and get ready to jump again. Take care of any servicing needs (AAD maintenance, relines, rig washes etc.) and be ready to jump when the weather is nice.

Who's going to be the 1st to jump at Snohomish this year. I know last year I was.
