Since the 2022 election I’ve been taking some time to evaluate where I can be effective, add the most value, and contribute in meaningful ways to the community. I will continue to be an advocate for social justice issues but not as a political figure (for now). I’m confident that my decision to return to Montessori education leadership is where my soul will thrive.

I don’t regret running for office despite the ugliness I experienced. It was an education, helped me understand others better, and challenged me to be the bravest version of myself. If you are passionate about being a helper and are willing to work relentlessly for your community, please, run for office. You won’t regret it.

To everyone who voted for me, you have my deepest gratitude. The personal stories and struggles you chose to share with me during this campaign are a weight on my heart and a badge of honor that I will carry with me forever.

I offer my congratulations to our next State Representative, Joe Adams. He has a tremendous job ahead of him and I wish him success because his future victories to end the neglect in rural PA will be our victories.
