Today marks 25 years since Jennie, Jeff and Larry opened the doors to Tanner Glass & Hardware- a huge milestone worth the celebration. It has been 25 years of hard work, passion, dedication, and incredible memories made along the way. This journey did not go without its challenges, but the support from customers, our vendors and employees is what kept us going. We have lost people along the way, including one of the founders, Jeff, but they will never be forgotten. Their presence forever stays with the Tanner Glass family.

If you haven't heard yet... Tanner Glass has a new home on Main Street in South Salt Lake. After 2+ decades we decided to upgrade and are so proud to call this place our forever home!

Merry Christmas from our Tanner Glass & Hardware family to you and yours.
Our first potluck Christmas Eve party at our new building brought laughs, presents and amazing food. It was so roomy and so much fun just relaxing with each other reflecting over our stressful and crazy year of moving and changing software systems at the same time. We also have a great new Tanner Glass band that performed for us. They are really good and it made me feel some big feelings for this incredible team of mine. I’m really lucky to have such a great team. Come see the new place and the happiest of holidays to you.

I’m very excited to be working on The Other Side Village which will help provide housing for our chronically homeless community. There is such a crisis in our state and we have so many organizations that work together to help provide shelter. HomeAid Utah is an organization that I am very proud to serve on the board. We collaborate with the building industry to renovate, build and raise money for materials and labor so that we can provide housing to those in need. The Other Side Village will house over 380-300 sq ft homes when the project is complete. There will be services, a general store, laundry facilities for these people that desperately need a new start.

It finally happened! After 6 months of planning, angst and stress, construction remodel and design we have MOVED to our new location at 2965 South Main Street in Salt Lake City. We’ve never moved even once in the 25 years we’ve been in business so there were a lot of memories to relive and some tears shed yesterday moving all those items collected over the years. Thank you to my incredible team who have worked tirelessly to get this done. Please come see us at our new location. We are still a little messy but we will have it all together soon. Also a huge shout out to The Other Side Movers for doing such an incredible job with the move.
