This photo was taken quite some time ago but looking at it still brings a smile to my face.

As a postpartum doula, I've always believed that caring for a new mom is just as important as caring for her baby. The early postpartum days can feel beautiful, exhausting, emotional and everything in between.

Having someone there to offer practical support, encouragement and a helping hand can make all the difference.

The babies grow, families move into new seasons, but the privilege of walking alongside them during such a tender chapter is something I'll never take for granted.

What is one thing you wish someone had told you or helped you with during your postpartum journey?

If you’re traveling to Hawaii with a baby the Four Seasons makes it easier. My room has a crib, pack n play, bottle warmer and sterilizer, baby bathtub, barn products, towel, diapers and wipes!
