Summer Camp WEEK 1 (June 8th-11th) is Adventure Awaits. This dynamic week is designed to get campers (ages 5-14) outside and working together.

We will be challenging them with:
- Scavenger Hunts: Navigating our secure Woodlake grounds to find hidden clues.
- Survival Skills: Learning essential outdoor techniques like basic shelter building and knot tying.
- Trail Markers: Understanding navigation and creating their own path.
- Obstacle Courses: Building coordination and confidence through physical challenges.
- Team Challenges: Developing leadership and collaboration through collaborative problem-solving.

This is the perfect week for high-energy kids who love the outdoors and want to start their summer with active, structured fun. Our low teacher-to-student ratios ensure everyone is engaged and supervised.

Friendship & Leadership Week Summer Camp (August 10–13)

We’re closing out our summer with a week of heart and purpose. Friendship & Leadership Week focuses on the skills that help kids thrive in community.

Team Building: Cooperative challenges that build trust.
Service Project: Working together to give back to our local community.
Celebration Week: A wrap-up of our favorite summer memories!

All camps run Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and are open to ages 5–14. Our unique indoor/outdoor facility at Beacon RVA provides the perfect backdrop for a summer of discovery!

Olympics Week Summer Camp (August 3–6)

Bring your team spirit to Beacon! Olympics Week is all about movement, cooperation, and healthy competition.

Team Games & Obstacle Courses: High-energy physical fun in our indoor/outdoor space.
Sportsmanship Focus: Learning how to win, lose, and cheer each other on.
Closing Ceremonies: Celebrating every student's effort and growth.

Nature Lab Summer Camp (July 20–23)

From the soil to the sky, we’re investigating the great outdoors! Nature Lab is perfect for the curious scientist who loves the natural world.

Gardening & Insects: Learning how things grow and meeting our "buggy" neighbors.
Nature Journaling: Documenting our findings like real field researchers.
Outdoor Science: Hands-on experiments in the fresh air.
