Remember, your VRF, Ductless and inverter systems' service software only gives you the command signal of the EEV's position. The EEV does not have a feedback loop so the actual position may very well be different from what the service software says.

This applies to all brands.

To ensure your EEV is operating properly, remove the unit's eev head, place the EEV MAG in its place, turn the tool and check your service software to see if the valve is operating as designed.
