Auto Rescue of Midlothian

This one was special.

Final day of Car Club at Salem Church Middle School.

All year these kids have been getting after it… learning parts, asking great questions, getting their hands dirty.

Yesterday it all came together.

Checking fluids.
Changing filters.
Testing batteries.

Real work.

Not watching… doing.

You could see the shift.

“I’m not sure” turned into
“I got it”
“I can do that”
“I know where to find the answer”

That’s the win.

We didn’t focus on memorizing everything.
We focused on figuring it out.

Open the manual.
Follow the process.
Work the problem.

And they did.

Some of these kids are already talking about getting into the automotive world. And honestly… I’d hire a few of them tomorrow if I could.

But even if they don’t go that route, they’ve got something now.

Flat tire? They’re good.
Dead battery? They’re good.
Stuck somewhere? They can handle it.

That matters.

Proud of this group. Proud to be a part of it.

Let these kids see it. Ask questions. Hear the story behind it. They will be judging the cars and there will be awards just like a real car show!
