Asking "Why me?" is a normal response to suffering. We should ask this tough question and have a safe person to talk to and get our difficult emotions out.

But we may never get an answer to this question. And if we get hung up on this, we may develop a victim mentality, learned helplessness, or bitterness.

Asking the follow-up question, "What is God trying to teach me?" will help us find at least one positive takeaway from a negative situation.

And it might just turn our test into a testimony
