A small business update in case many are not aware!

So as many of you may already realize, getting groceries, supplies, and much needed packaging supplies is getting progressively harder.

I will keep my political view of this mild, but unfortunately many of us saw this coming. Though I do believe much of the shortages are real, I also believe politics play a roll in this as well. You cannot mandate things upon the country & not expect consequences. Employees were hard to find already & adding in mandates, means things will stop due to the lack of workers. You cannot see massive inflation & not have it roll down hill to the consumer.

In addition to sluggish supply, there are also upcoming mandates on fees to payment processing avenues such as Venmo, PayPal, & square. Friends, this will choke out so many things for you as a consumer, & for all of us that try to offer specialty items you can’t find elsewhere at a reasonable rate.

This is a constant conversation with fellow small business friends, & the outlook isn’t good. I’m not sure what this means for Bite, as you can see we have had to slow considerably. Unfortunately pricing will be quoted outside of the normal amounts going forward. We love what we do, we are frustrated but hopeful. Pray for you small business friends & understand, as with everything, this will cost us all more.

For a business grown from a fun hobby & the love to make tasty things this part isn’t so fun! We love you guys & will keep doing what we’re doing as long as possible!
