May 24, 2026 Training at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It was rainy and overcast but our K9s were enjoying every minute of training.

The Ramapo Rescue Dog Association / Ramapo Rescue Dog Foundation hosted the final practical training day for the New York State Police K9 Cadaver Course.

The class consisted of 10 handler–K9 teams and 4 NYSP K9 instructors from the New York State Police training academy in Cooperstown, NY. The session focused on final evaluations and real-world practical exercises to complete the course requirements.
