The Global South Asian Studies Department and the Wesleyan Refugee Project are collaborating to host a discussion with Professor Rudabeh Shahid!
This talk explores the geopolitics of statelessness in South Asia, examining historical roots and contemporary crises spanning Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the Maldives. This talk offers a nuanced perspective on statelessness as a product of both historical legacies and contemporary policy challenges.
Lunch will be provided in Pac 001 on Friday, April 4th from 12-1:30!
