Andy Moog: Making of the Goalie Mask A look at how a custom goalie mask is made for Boston Bruins goalie, Andy Moog.

Many of you may not know, if not for Andy Moog Pro’s Choice wouldn’t be where we are today. It seems like yesterday, but 35 years ago Andy gave a young man a shot at making his goalie mask. I will always be indebted and grateful for the opportunity he gave me! Andy has always been a winner and I expect him to win this battle too! My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

I received some very sad news yesterday. Our great friend of many years, Andy Moog, has cancer. He has asked us to share the news with the hockey community that has meant so much to him over the years. We hope you can share your thoughts and well wishes as he begins the toughest battle of his career.

A few things about Andy; we all know his accomplishments on the ice are incredible. He also spent several years as a coach and mentor at many levels, but his devotion as a husband, parent, grandparent, and a great friend to many stands out even more. Andy is one of the most gracious people I know with incredible integrity and has a true love of the game. Andy has spent many years doing charitable work for several organizations such as the Special Olympics, the training center for handicap, along with the Andy Moog and friends Hospice house. He is always looking to help others and now it is our turn to help him. Please post your thoughts and well wishes for Andy and his family here and join us as we cheer him on for another victory!
