I’m grateful I got to spend time with Des Wingard earlier this year when I was recording a segment at WSFA. We laughed and reminisced on our time working together when I was at WTVM as he was proudly giving me a tour of their new newsroom. There are some people you work with in life that you never forget because of how kind they were to you — Des was one of those people for me. When I saw him, we talked about our friend Scott Duff, who also recently passed. I find comfort knowing Des and Scott are reunited now and picking up right where they left off. ❤️
