Mr. Tyson McKenzie, Consul General, presented on “International Duties of Consular Officers and Types of Cooperation with Law Enforcement in U.S.–Bahamas Relations” during the panel “Regional Security from World War I to Today” at the Florida Political Science Association Annual Conference hosted at Saint Leo University.

This engagement reflects the Consulate’s continued commitment to bridging scholarly discourse with practitioners and policy makers, strengthening the connection between academic research and the practical work of consular officers in advancing regional security cooperation.

The final research paper, under the same title, will be published as part of ongoing academic contributions by the Consulate General in Miami, to the study of international relations, foreign policy, migration, and diplomatic practice between The Bahamas and the United States.
