Please help us congratulate our friend, David! 🎉

He came to Helping Hands Therapy Co. in March following treatment for head and neck cancer, and over the past few months, he has made incredible progress. Through his hard work, dedication, and determination, he achieved meaningful improvements in a short amount of time.

Using VitalStim® therapy and individualized therapeutic exercises, David restored his lip seal during meals, improved facial symmetry, increased range of motion on his surgical side, and regained strength and confidence in his swallowing and facial function.

Watching his transformation has been nothing short of inspiring. His commitment to therapy and positive attitude made every milestone worth celebrating.

Graduation days are always bittersweet. While we’ll miss seeing David each week, there is no greater reward than watching our patients reach their goals and move forward with confidence.

We are SO excited to officially welcome Kari Tanner, MOTR/L to the Helping Hands family as she begins our Occupational Therapy program! 🤍

Kari’s heart for helping others started at a young age through her own family experiences, and that passion shines through in the way she loves, supports, and celebrates every milestone with her clients. 🌈

She believes in a play-based, client-centered approach that helps children build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for everyday life. We already know our families are going to love her compassionate heart and the joy she brings into every session. 🫶🏼
