Don’t throw away your confidence… you’ve come too far & if there is breath in your lungs take it as a sign that God is not done with you yet!!!

Hebrews 10:35 is clear… your confidence has a return on it. But you have to keep holding it.

The problem is we build our confidence on things that were never designed to hold it. The views. The revenue. The deal that hasn’t closed. The opportunity that hasn’t come through. When those things shift, we shift with them.
But confidence anchored in God doesn’t move like that. He doesn’t revise the promise based on the last quarter. He said what He said.

Stay in it. Don’t let a quiet season convince you that nothing is happening. Don’t let weariness become a decision.

The reward is real. And it belongs to the ones who don’t let go of Him šŸ’™šŸ™šŸ¼

When my wife asked me what I wanted for my 29th birthday, I didn’t have an immediate answer.

After thinking it through, I wanted something innately connected to who I am at my core. A creative.

I spent almost a decade in Hollywood pursuing a career in an industry I have a deep love, respect, and profound admiration for… A studio I’ve always been drawn to is Warner Brothers. I used to sit outside the lot, stare at the tower, and pray. I always found a deep sense of peace there.

Today I walked that lot.

Me, my best friend who is a filmmaker and director, my brother-in-love artist,actor,musician.. and my wife, writer, producer, storyteller. We walked through places that are more than buildings where films are made… These are places where stories are told in great detail. Places that have left lasting impact on millions of lives.

As I walked I asked God to speak to me.

What He showed me is that He is the writer, the producer, and the creator of our lives. But we have a choice to allow Him to become the director. Our role is not to perform or try to be somebody else. It’s to embrace who He designed us to be.

And that only happens when you surrender. His plan. His way. His will.

When you surrender, you give the pen back to the Author. The One who knows everything from A to Z. The One who makes everything work together for good. Even the things you thought He could never redeem.
He knows how. He always has.

This one goes out to all the creatives. On my 29th birthday I dedicate this to you because it’s what my heart beats for.

Surrender the pen to the Writer. He’s the Author and the Finisher. šŸŽ¬šŸ¤

I used to think strategy meant having the tightest plan in the room.

Then I realized the most strategic thing I could do was surrender the plan to the one who wrote the purpose.

That didn’t mean I stopped planning. I still build systems, map out strategy, and use every tool available. But the order changed. Surrender first. Then strategy. When you get that sequence right, everything you build carries a different kind of weight because it’s not just well-executed, it’s aligned.
There’s a version of your creative life, your business, your calling that’s been waiting on the other side of one decision.
Not a better plan. A better posture.

ā€œThe plans of man are many, but it’s the purposes of God that prevail.ā€ — Proverbs 19:21
