It is with great sadness that we announce that passing of K9 Brico from our Narcotics Division. Loved by his partner, and feared by drug dealers across Florida, K9 Brico was one of the longest-serving police canines in the state, with nearly 12 years of service. Over his remarkable career, he served alongside three partners, helping seize 688 lbs of narcotics and more than $875,000 in illicit proceeds. His exceptional skill led to over 150 search warrants and hundreds of arrests. Every morning, K9 Brico waited eagerly by the door, ready to work. His drive to hunt narcotics was only surpassed by his love for tennis balls. 🎾K9 Brico’s dedication and loyalty will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, his pack, and all of us at PBSO. 🐾
