Midtown Video Celebrates 40th Anniversary!

In October 2024, Miami-based Midtown Video celebrated its 40th anniversary in business, which represents the culmination of many impressive successes, industry accolades, and strategic milestones.

Over the years, the founders, Kenn and Debby Miller, steered the company through many transitions from its beginnings in film and video production to equipment rental and sales, and ultimately, to designing and building award-winning systems integration projects, such as broadcast and streaming studios, video teleconferencing spaces, video walls, digital audio installations, and immersive A/V experiences.

Upon reaching their 40th anniversary, the founders officially handed the reins over to a new generation of leadership, their son Jesse Miller, who has served as the company’s CEO for years, spearheading technologically complex systems integration projects.

Jesse Miller, CEO of Midtown Video, helped design a system to create the ultimate Board Meeting experience for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

The solution was crafted to meet the need for a high-impact hybrid meeting experience where in-person attendees, remote participants, and the public could interact effectively and seamlessly. Managing a diverse set of variables including webcams, mobile devices, and consumer network service quality was a requirement. High-quality video and audio signals from attendees needed to be as reliable as possible to avoid confusion and overlapping voices.
