Today, February 4 – World Cancer Day, we want to take this opportunity to share an excerpt from Dr. William Li.

Not as a miracle promise.
Not as a one-size-fits-all solution.
But as a powerful reflection on how our understanding of cancer is evolving.

For decades, cancer care focused on “attacking and destroying” the disease.

Today, growing scientific evidence invites us to see the patient as a whole: the immune system, inflammation, the gut microbiome, environment, and lifestyle.

As Dr. Li reminds us:
👉 Only 5–10% of cancers are driven by genetics.
The rest are strongly influenced by environmental, metabolic, and lifestyle factors.

Science moves forward.
Medicine evolves.
And the challenge is no longer only to fight cancer, but to strengthen the person.
