Un joyero de Miami que mantiene una tradición de varias generaciones 11/01/2024

Vivian & Jimmy Quiroga are dear friends. But I am also a loyal fan of their beautiful jewelry.

Third generation, Award-Winning Master Jeweler, Jimmy Quiroga has continued the family tradition of exquisite craftsmanship that spans over 130 years. The journey began in Galicia, Spain, in the 1890’s. The family business later expanded to the vibrant heart of Old Havana before finally taking root in Miami, where today, Jimmy and his wife, Vivian, now spearhead Jimmy Quiroga® Designs.

The tale traces back to Galicia, where Jimmy’s grandfather, Dario Quiroga Losada, a wholesale jeweler, who distributed jewelry in the region, met his wife, Pastora Enriquez de Quiroga in the late 1890’s. The couple opened their first jewelry store adjacent to a hotel owned by Pastora’s family. In 1923, the couple ventured to Cuba, planting the seeds for “Quiroga Hermanos” — named after their five children — in the heart of Old Havana. The business flourished, becoming the premiere wholesale jewelry company in Cuba, supplying the famous El Encanto in Havana, among many others.

In 1960, after the communist dictatorship confiscated their business, the Quiroga family fled Cuba and established themselves in Miami where Jimmy’s parents founded Lido Jewelry, Inc., a wholesale jewelry business in the Seybold Building. From a young age, Jimmy took interest in the family trade, eventually becoming the third generation to lead the business with his wife and college sweetheart, Vivian Pazos Quiroga, Esq.
Today, Jimmy Quiroga® Designs crafts fine and fashion jewelry, both the wholesale and retail markets, including bespoke celebrity pieces, all from their showroom in the Seybold Building—now the second largest diamond and jewelry center in the U.S.

Vivian Pazos Quiroga, Esq., CEO of Jimmy Quiroga® Designs, celebrates the company as “a tradition of craftsmanship and excellence passed down through generations.” She also highlights their dedication to community involvement through numerous charitable partnerships, a commitment she describes as “Passion and Compassion.”

Jimmy Quiroga® Designs is renowned for its exceptional jewelry and community service, earning numerous accolades over the years.

For more information, visit jimmyquiroga.com, follow them on Facebook and Instagram or visit their Miami showroom at (305) 377-3852 to discover unique and timeless jewelry creations.
