Motherhood is different and unique for every woman. For me, motherhood is the ultimate state of happiness where all my emotions are so strong that sometimes I find myself crying when I am singing to my son, not because I am sad, but because I feel grateful and blessed of being able to share my love for music with my son.
Motherhood should not be a lonely journey and the group is this place where you can find support and also be a safe net when you need it.

Plastic, plastic, plastic. Sometimes the hero, sometimes the worst enemy. We can’t live without it, our lives depend on it but what can you do to reduce its consumption?
In 2018, the nation’s plastic recycling rate was about 9%. A new report from Last Beach Cleanup and Beyond Plastics, indicated that in 2021, the plastic recycling rate was under 5%, cutting the previous estimate nearly in half!
Whaaaaaaat? So the plastic I am putting in the blue bin had not been recycled? The answer is no.
When possible, refuse plastic every time you can. Lead by example and don’t buy plastic that will be thrown away after one or two uses.
Be mindful of your overall waste. Buy in bulk, refill a stainless steel water bottle, ditch the straw, plastic utensils and excessive packaging.
The whole lifecycle of plastic is not giving us the independence we are looking for because we still need non renewable energy sources and oil to produce it.
Practice saying NO more often.
