If you’re looking for good Cuban food in Miami that isn’t a tourist trap—go ahead and add Cubata to your list.
I stopped by this low-key gem and everything was 😍
The Cuban sandwich was buttery, crispy, and packed with flavor (one of the best I’ve had—and I don’t say that lightly). The plantain chips? Light, salty, and the perfect little crunch on the side.
I also tried both their mojito and the mocktail version—because balance—and both were delicious! If you know me, you know mojitos are my favorite, so that’s saying a lot!
Bonus: the service was quick and friendly, and the vibe was casual but cute. Definitely one of those spots that feels like a local fave.
What I’d recommend:
• Cuban sandwich (trust me)
• Plantain chips
• Mojito or mocktail mojito
• Come during lunch or early dinner to skip the crowd
Save this spot for your next Miami food crawl—and tag your foodie bestie who’s always down for a good meal.
