DHS Announced that will begin implementing the new process for Venezuelans today October 18, 2022

USCIS announce new process for Venezuelans that will provide a lawful way for nationals of Venezuela who are outside the U.S. and lacking U.S. entry documents to come to the United States. Through a fully online process, individuals can be considered for advance authorization to travel to the U.S. and seek a temporary period of parole for up to 2 years. To participate in this process, Venezuelan nationals must:
• Have a supporter in the United States
• Undergo and clear robust security vetting
• Meet other eligibility criteria; and
• Warrant a favorable exercise of discretion.

Secretary Mayorkas Extends and Redesignates Temporary Protected Status for Burma The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced an extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Burma for an additional 18 months, from Nov. 26, 2022, through May 25, 2024, due to extraordinary and temporary conditions in Burma that prevent individuals from safely returning.
