2.1 million organizations worldwide are ISO certified as of early 2026.

In the U.S.? Around 72,000 companies.

That number is projected to climb to 80,000–90,000 by 2028 — driven by supply chain requirements, ESG pressures, and enterprise procurement standards.

Here's what that means for businesses that aren't certified yet:

The bar is rising. Buyers, enterprise clients, and government contracts increasingly list ISO certification as a baseline — not a bonus.

The three standards driving the most growth right now:
• ISO 9001 — Quality Management (1.3M+ certificates globally, ~45% of all ISO certs)
• ISO 14001 — Environmental Management (0.7M+, growing fast due to ESG)
• ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety (0.5M+, accelerating post-pandemic)

If your business operates in manufacturing, logistics, or construction — these aren't optional anymore.

The question isn't IF you'll need them. It's whether you'll be ready when it matters.

**"Why I Use Figma to Design Quality Workflows"**

---

Most quality consultants design workflows in Word.

I use Figma.

Not because it's trendy — because it works better.

When you design a process in a text document, people read it.

When you design it as a visual workflow, people *use* it.

Figma lets me build interactive, zoomable process maps that a team can navigate in a browser — no special software, no printing, no "I can't open the file" emails.

For document control flows, supplier qualification paths, and audit preparation checklists — the visual format makes the difference between a process that gets followed and one that gets filed.

Tools don't define quality. But the right tool makes quality systems more human.

What tool does your team actually use to document processes?

POV: You're two hours into a certification audit.

The auditor asks to see evidence of management review.

The quality manager opens a folder.

There's one document inside.

It's dated three years ago.

This is the moment where the room goes very quiet.

Major nonconformities don't come from bad intentions — they come from good intentions that ran out of time, bandwidth, and follow-through.

Management review isn't a once-a-year checkbox. It's the mechanism your leadership uses to ask: *Is our system still working? And how do we know?*

If your last management review is collecting dust, this is your sign.
