🌍✈️ 7 Weeks Around the World: Week 2 Recap! 🌍☀️

This week, our campers traveled to Africa and had an amazing time exploring its rich culture through hands-on activities, creative crafts, and delicious food! 🦒🎨🥥

❤️ We celebrated and learned about Juneteenth.
🥥👩‍🍳 Campers made refreshing Limonada de Coco during our cooking activity.
🌿🌺 We enjoyed a beautiful adventure at the Botanical Gardens.
💦☀️ And cooled off with a splash-tastic day at Grapeland Water Park!

From learning and creating to exploring and making unforgettable memories, Week 2 was full of fun, friendship, and adventure! 🌎✨

🌎✈️ Week 1 of our 7 Weeks Around the World Summer Camp was a success! 🗺️✨

Our travelers learned all about world maps, baked delicious treats, worked together on STEM challenges that strengthened teamwork and building skills, cooled off with a fun waterslide day, and even kicked off the excitement of the World Cup! ⚽🌍💙

We can’t wait to see where our adventure takes us next! 🌎❤️

Our high school students learned the importance of flood safety and protecting their communities through a hands-on challenge! Using creative materials and teamwork, students designed homes built to withstand water — then put them to the test. Learning + creativity + fun all in one activity!

We celebrated the incredible mothers and mother figures in our community with a special day full of love, laughter, and sweet memories. Our students were so excited to gift their moms handmade presents created with love, spend quality time together in their classrooms doing fun activities, and enjoy some delicious ice cream together 🍦✨
