OYC Miami heads to Washington, D.C. each year, giving our youth a firsthand look at how leadership, government, and civic responsibility come to life. Through this annual experience with the Foundation, learning moves beyond the classroom and into real-world understanding rooted in our Enrichment and Exposure pillar.

This year, students engaged in a powerful conversation with civil rights attorney Ben Crump, gaining insight into advocacy, justice, and the responsibility of using your voice. During the visit, the kids had workshops and conferences with other youths from all across America, explored iconic landmarks including the Washington Monument and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, connecting history to the impact they can make today.
