To the practice that shaped me into the woman I am today. The practice that constantly opens my eyes and heart to what really matters in life. A practice that never ends.

The one that connects us to source through the self. This guide that keeps on giving by encouraging softening while slowly building strength in the mind, body, and soul.

I am so grateful that I got to share my International Day of Yoga witnessing one of my beautiful friends April May Gardner shining so bright while leading over 500 yogis that gathered together over the sand of Nikki Beach to honor this practice of YOGA.

Today I was demo girl and it felt so good to receive. If we can’t be happy for others we will never be happy with ourselves. I’ll leave you with this quote another dear friend of mine said:

Most people are shocked when I tell them I was never a gymnast nor a dancer when I was younger.

Even more shocked when I tell them that it wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I was accidentally discovered yoga and that prior to that I never did any physical activities… I was just always thin.

What I discovered after my first yoga class is that I might had been skinny all along, but I was weak AF! I couldn’t hold a table top, let alone a plank pose..

And…. There was more to it…. not only my body was weak but also my mind and my heart were not in a good space.

What I’ve discovered along the ride is that it’s doesn’t have to be yoga.. it can be Pilates, it can be biking, it can be running, it can be swimming… IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO START SOMETHING

Don’t be afraid of saying yes and trying new things. We never know where they will lead us to.

Excuses are easier to make but excuses don’t get you where you wish you were.
