Congratulations to Dr. Selcuk Uluagac ! He received NSF Grant - Amount: $300K from NSF's cybersecurity program in collaboration with Northeastern University. Our share is $150K.

Three exciting news from our ECE department:
1. Dr. Akkaya and Dr. Uluagac received Cyber Florida Pathways grant:
$250K for one year from Cyber Florida Pathways program to develop cybersecurity modules using a gaming platform for high school students in South Florida. Will work with Giri and Selcuk starting from Fall on this exciting project.
2. Dr. Alwan recently received the NSF Convergence Accelerator 2022 Joint NSF/DOD Phases 1 grant.
This $750k grant is in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University, Virginia Tech, and PQsecure. FIU is the lead institution.

3. Dr. MD Rahman and Dr. Uluagac received $1.4 M Cyber Florida Grant.

FIU awarded $1 million to develop 5G/6G cybersecurity solutions FIU researchers are helping thwart cyberattacks ― from computers and mobile devices to large-scale networks ― thanks to NSF $1M grant.
