EGSC Engineering Consultants

Scope of work:
• Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team, and obtaining necessary information.
• General understanding of civil engineering with a focus on water, sewer, drainage, roadways, and grading
• Prepare engineering construction drawings under the guidance and supervision of the principal engineer
• Capable of specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures on AutoCAD plans.
• Recognizes when technical problems are developing and initiates appropriate corrective actions.
• Communicates task status effectively to Principal Engineer.
• Strong leadership with teamwork emphasis.

Education/Experience:
• Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, GIS or Microstation
• 2-5 years of progressive Engineering/drafting experience. Preferred experience in civil engineering /land development projects.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Spanish speaking a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Must be able to legally work in the United States on a permanent basis
