They conditioned us to believe:

Men don’t cry, men don’t show affection, men are not vulnerable and never show weakness. Men have to be tough, etc., etc.

The reality is, when we look at Christ and His life He was the opposite of all that I just wrote above. And I choose to follow in His footsteps.

I am great-full for a place like that the Lord used to bring healing to my soul and my heart.
