Sometimes, driving good is not enough. Winter can give you a hard time, if you come unprepared. So make sure to memorize these tips. They may save your life!
Tip 1: Prepare yourself
Aside from bringing a warm jacket and other winter clothes, take a few extra items along with you such as:
• A flashlight and batteries
• A blanket
• Non-perishable food and water
• A bag of sand or salt
• A windshield scraper
• Jumper cables
• A hammer and a putty knife (to unfreeze brakes)
• First aid/emergency kit
Tip 2: Adjust your driving style
As a responsible truck driver, you should know how to adjust your driving style based on the weather conditions. To keep yourself safe, as well as the lives of others, you can:
• Drive slower and put more distance between you and the vehicles in front to give you more time to react if anything happens in front
Tip 3: Don’t force yourself
Truck driving requires focus and all of your attention, especially during the winter season. When you get tired or sleepy, pull over and get some rest. Don’t push your limits. If needed, reschedule your delivery appointments. Always be alert !
Tip 4: Plan ahead
Along with winter comes the hazards of winter driving. Although we can’t avoid rough weather conditions, we can still stay safe by simply planning ahead. Here are some reminders to make you prepared before your trip:
• Check the weather forecast for the route you’re going to engage on
• Plan the best route ahead of time, and, if possible, avoid roads with sharp curves or hills
• Give yourself extra time to make your trip
• Make sure your fuel tank is full so you don’t run out of fuel
And don’t forget about the main rule-stay informed. Check local news for information regarding traffic or the condition of certain roads, plan your moves according to the weather forecast, and prepare for anything in advance. And remember our tips! We wish you luck and safety during this season!

Good news! The fight for clean air has already begun! The states of California, Oregon, Washington,New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts are requiring a growing percentage of all medium- and heavy-duty trucks sold to be zero-emission starting in 2025.
But selling all the heavy trucks won’t really solve the problem. The best way to lower emissions is to discontinue the entire truck industry, but it would be too radical. Thanks to the scientific advances, we have an option here. Electric-powered trucks! Of course, the technology is relatively new and not a lot of vehicles operate by using that kind of engines, but our future still looks bright. A great combination with such technology will be automatization of the trucks, which will lower the harm to the atmosphere even more!
So, even though the climate change looks scary, we will manage it. Just as any other global disaster in the past. Future brings hope, so do not despair!

Accounting mistakes that cost you money
⠀
It’s considered that accounting 🧾 is a very painful topic for all businesses. Do you also think so?
⠀
In reality, this topic is quite difficult, yes, but at the same time if you have a reliable accountant or trustworthy workers whose duties related to record-keeping, you have nothing to worry about
⠀
On the other hand, if you’re the one responsible for all the “number” or “docs” things, you may make mistakes
⠀
So today we’re going to tell the most common ones👇🏻
⠀
▪️Not issuing an invoice for payment on time
⠀
There’re only 24 hours after delivery for doing this, so keep it in mind, otherwise, you may lose your money
⠀
▪️Throwing out fuel receipts
⠀
Better keep them. ‘Cause such negligence may lead to overpayment of IFTA tax or non-compliance of expenses
⠀
▪️Not taking a deposit for a truck
⠀
A deposit is your personal airbag in case of unexpected accidents
⠀
▪️Entrusting accounting to a beginner
⠀
Such a common mistake! It seems that this way you can save money, but in fact no. Better hire a reliable worker who knows every single issue related to the topic
⠀
Follow these simple tips and you’ll be on the right way to success!
