Yesterday, I was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to the Fashion Economy award at the Global Fashion Award, during the Dubai Mall Fashion Festival at Dubai Mall, here in Dubai.

Being recognized at home carries a feeling beyond words. Home is where your work is often taken for granted, where recognition is hardest to earn, and that is exactly why this moment means so much.

Special thanks to Emaar, HE. Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, and to Dubai; a city where dreams are not only hosted, but truly enabled.

Grateful for the journey, the people who believed, to my partners, colleagues, friends and also those who didn't believe and the vision that never changed.
