📍 South Florida

We are proud to have completed 3 live bee removals in the Sunrise area 👊. These were located in neighborhoods with high foot traffic.
Hives this size, especially 30 to 40 feet up in trees, can become unstable if left unmanaged:
• South Florida heat softens the wax over time, making it less rigid and weakening how the hive stays attached to branches
• As the hive grows, the added weight puts more stress on those attachment points
• Exposure to sun, wind, and rain can further disturb and weaken the structure
This creates a real risk of the hive falling and causing serious damage below, especially in high traffic areas.

If you live in South Florida, you already know…
🪳 Roaches aren’t seasonal here, they’re year-round. With the heat and humidity, about 1 in 3 homes deal with them every year.
The key is catching it early.
Watch for small signs:
• Droppings (like pepper)
• Musty odors
• Activity under sinks and around plumbing
Moisture is their lifeline, and that space under the sink is prime real estate.
Most people don’t notice until it’s been building for a while.
At Mega Bee, we catch it early so it never gets that far. 🐝
From the trunk of a car to a forever home. 🐝
Swarm season is in full effect, and bees will land just about anywhere. Our team carefully relocated this colony from a trunk of a car to one of our trusted local apiaries, where they can thrive, pollinate, and do what bees do best. 🌎
Oh, and watch till the end for the bloopers. The queen had other plans mid-rescue. 😭👑
