73% of enterprise AI deployments fail to hit projected ROI. 42% of companies abandoned at least one AI initiative in 2025. The average sunk cost per project that gets dropped is $4.2 million.
The dominant explanation is bad data. But when you look closer, the problem is almost always upstream of the data pipeline. It is content that was never structured for AI. Content that cannot be tagged, governed, or served at the speed modern experiences require.
