Clerodendrum schmidtii, now available in 3g and 15g Clerodendrum schmidtii, or Lightbulb Clerodendrum, is one of the best winter bloomers for tropical and subtropical gardens. This plant is uncommon in the trade and a must-have during winter when many other flowering plants are not blooming. Starting in December, the flowers open along racemes that are 18 inches or longer. The flower buds resemble miniature lightbulbs, and the flowers themselves look like tiny white butterflies.
